• This house believes that newly democratised Arab nations should not allow religious parties to participate in elections
• This house believes that the feminist movement should seek a ban on pornography
• This house believes that developing nations should place limits on internal urban-rural migration
• This house believes that states should enshrine legally actionable socio-economic rights

Grand Final:

This house regrets South Africa’s decision to use the Truth and Reconciliation Commission rather than prosecuting perpetrators of crimes committed under Apartheid.
