Η πρώτη ανακοίνωση και τα προετοιμασμένα θέματα για το Τουρνουά της Σλοβενίας:

Here it is again – our traditional  International Worlds Schools Debate Tournament in Ljutomer, Slovenia.  From 5th – 7th November, 6 debate rounds, quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals. Please, check the tentative schedule at the end of this message.
This year tournament is part of the project entitled »Think – Meet –  Debate – Include –Europe.«   supported by  EU programme Europe for citizens. Partners in the project are debate organisations from Estonia, Checzk Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Croatia, Romania and Slovenia.
Additionally to debaters of the partner organisations we invite debate teams from all over the globe to come and join us for the tournament.  We do expect  participants from Europe to come on Thursday, the 4th or Friday morning, the 5th and leave on Sunday, the 7th late afternoon or Monday morning. Debaters from overseas are invited to come a few days earlier and be guests of Ljutomer debaters.
Debates will be in English in Worlds Schools Debate Format.  By team we mean 3 debaters – we will not accept teams with 4 or 5 debaters. Debaters should be accompanied by at least one adult who can also judge – 1 team/1 judge, 2 teams/1judge, 3 teams/2 judges.
There is a team cap of 40  teams. The registration opens  on 1st of September, the prepared motions will be announced at the beginning of August.

If you are staying more than 3 nights, each additional day costs 25 EUR. The ones who would like to enjoy the privacy of a single room need to pay additional single room cost..
In the case of multiple entries from one country and if need to limit the number of teams  we will follow the principles of regional diversity giving the privilege to the teams which are supported by the national debate organisations.
